Filmmaker and activist Michael Premo told us the baseline he uses is to consider what conversations he'd be willing to have in a coffee shop or public park. Sure, he said, it’s unlikely that someone is listening, but they could still catch snippets. What would it mean if they did? How much can you — or should you — tolerate letting them hear?
Create your digital security plan to mitigate the risk. While you may be tempted to figure it out as you go, thinking ahead will undoubtedly keep you safer.
